Bortartóból ékszerdoboz / From Wine holder box into a bigger jewelery box

Az előző ékszerdoboz sokaknak megtetszett, olyan szinten, hogy szülinapra egy ékszerdobozt kért tőlem sógornőm :) Neki több csecsebecséje van, ezért egy nagyobb dobozt tűztem ki az átalakításra. Egy sima fa bortartót alakítottam át, ami otthon porosodott már egy ideje. Volt már sminkes doboz a fürdőbe, volt már fésű tartó de csak nem találtam meg az igazi szerepét.
The jewelery box I've made last month got many positive feedbacks and I got a request as well to make a new one as a birthday gift for my sister in law. She has a lot of baubles and I decided to make her a nice and big box for all the staff she has. I found a wine holder which was used for many things already: makeup staff was in it, all hair staff: combs, rubber ring etc. This big wooden box was ready for a makeover :)


Amire szükségem volt/ All that I needed:

• Fa doboz / wooden box
• Vaj színű fényes akrill festék /Glossy Butter colour acrylic paint
• Púderszínű matt akrill festék /Matte finish powder colour acrylic paint
• decoupage ragasztó és lakk / decoupage glue and varnish
• szalvéták és ecsetek / napkins and brushes

A folyamat a szokásos módon zajlott:

Letisztítottam a dobozt, lefestettem 2 rétegben a 2 féle festékkel ( teteje vajszínű az alja pedig púderszínű).

Majd a szalvéták mintáit kiválasztva, kivágva vagy körbe tépegetve felragasztottam a ragasztóval a dobozra. száradás után lakkal átkentem. Ami érdekes, hogy csillogó decoupage ragasztót találtam és ez most nagyon jól jött. Jól passzolt az ékszerdobozhoz. A dobozon kívül a csillogó ragasztót használtam belül pedig a simát.

The steps were those used before:

I have cleanded the box, painted in two layers with the two kind of paints ( on the upper part of the box I used the butter colour on the lower part I used the powder one ). Then I selected the models from the napkins and I cut them. I used the decoupage glue to put the napkin models on the selected parts of the box. Some extra thing was that one glue was glistening. This one was used on the external part and inside I used the normal decoupage glue.
